HVAC components / Ecommerce build and rebuildHVAC components
We built it, grew it, and rebuilt it for the next stage.
Client kept anonymous and shown by industry. Everything below is verified and true today.
Situation
This client supplies heating, ventilation and cooling parts across Australia, fans, motors, bearings and related components. We built their original ecommerce site some years ago. As the business grew, the time came to invest in a faster, better platform built for where they had got to.
Challenge
The original site had served them well, but a growing component retailer needs speed, a clean buying experience, and a structure built for search across thousands of specific parts. Rebuilding a large catalogue site is the kind of move that can set search back if it is done without care.
Approach
We delivered a brand new custom platform, built for speed and for the way people actually shop for parts, and structured around ecommerce search best practice. The result is a genuinely fast, clean site that scores at the top of the technical measures. We keep an SEO programme running across it, focused on the exact part and component searches that bring buyers ready to purchase.
Deliverables
- 01A new custom ecommerce platform, built for speed and user experience, replacing the original site we had built years earlier.
- 02A site structured for search across a large component catalogue.
- 03An ongoing SEO programme targeting high-intent part and component searches.
Result
- A technically excellent build, scoring a perfect 100 for performance with load times under 700 milliseconds, and at or near the top for best practice, accessibility and search readiness.
- Organic search is the largest source of both traffic and revenue, converting strongly.
- Improved search positions on the rebuilt category pages.

Commercial insight
A rebuild is the moment a growing business either pulls ahead or quietly loses ground.
The craft is in moving to a faster, better platform without losing what the old one earned. Get the build right and keep working the search, and the new site becomes the foundation for the next stage of growth.
